Not sure what dark magic fuels this device but it really does work to thaw unpackaged meat in a remarkably short time. No more running the facet over frozen packages all day. This thing has paid for itself in the money it has saved from not having to run water over frozen food. I guess that makes it pretty green even though it is solid black. We love our Fast Defrosting Tray and could not imagine not having one now!

Gave this to my mom who has everything. Right away we tried ice cubes on this, a regular cutting board, wood cutting board and the granite counterparts...we were all in shock how much faster this melted the ice. Works great on all meat types, frozen bread and frozen butter. I'm sure we will find more uses for this too, great unique gift idea!

I was skeptical when I placed my order. I thought that I probably would lose the money on this kitchen gadget. Well, seeing is believing, and it actually works! I don't even have to remove the meat from the freezer bag to have it work. It's basically a sheet of Aluminium with four small legs underneath. It's covered with a Teflon non-stick coating. I'm happy with it. I am forgetful and this item helps when I forget to put out meat to thaw.

I’m pretty impressed of this tray. I just place it under the sun with my frozen meat and there it goes after half a minute the water started to came out from the meat. The tray absorbs the heat from the sun quickly.
